While it might not initially be high on your priority list, it will be later in the game. You’ll need it to finish the Petting Zoo Tablet Target in The Green Gardens

Though Clayton will tell you what you need to build the room (yes, it’s a room even though you will need to build it outside), it’s easy to forget what the materials are. Of course, if you never talked to Clayton in the first place, going back and talking to him now is a pain in the neck.

Don’t worry, though. We got you.

Playful Park Materials and Layout

Here’s what you need to build.

Simple Bench x2 Plank Pathway x2 Flowers x2 Tree Swing 1x Tree, 1x Swing

Place the items and enclose the space in a fence with a gate. You can build a wall around the items, and it will also create a room — although a fence certainly looks more natural.

As with other rooms in the game, there’s no reason to make it too big. A 4x4 or 5x5 area will suffice.

Lastly, be sure to use fertilizer to make your tree grow faster. Or, if you have the Ultimallet, knock down a tree and replant it.

That’s really all you need to know about building the Playful Park in Dragon Quest Builders 2. It’s that simple.
